About the Course
If you want to make the most of your bottom time and have more fun on your dives, try diver propulsion vehicle (DPV) diving. In this underwater DPV course, you will learn the skills and concepts you need to safely plan and conduct dives using DPVs. You will learn the special precautions needed for using DPVs, how to maintain buddy contact and how to control your equipment, so you can safely enjoy the new dive experiences DPVs provide. Upon completion of this program, you will earn the SSI DPV Diving specialty certification and be able to dive up to 30 meters deep with DPV.

Pavlos Besis
From competitive swimming to the deep blue — Pavlos has always lived in the water. Between 1980 and 1996, he set six national records and was European Champion in Fin Swimming before discovering diving in 1997. Since then, thousands of dives have shaped his passion and experience beneath the surface.
With a strong background in technical and cave diving, Pavlos teaches with precision, discipline, and safety at the core of every course. A dedicated advocate of the DIR philosophy, he guides divers to explore the caves of the Aegean with confidence and control. For Pavlos, diving isn’t just a profession — it’s a way of life.
