Will Greece, and specifically Paros, become the next premier destination for cave diving?

An intriguing tip from Dimitris Pharao in the spring of 2021 about an opening in the seabed sent a jolt of excitement through us, sparking our curiosity about a potential new cave. Due to other commitments, we hadn't been able to devote much time to it, and initial attempts to locate it were unsuccessful.

Now, in 2025, with Dimitris by our side, we visited the exact spot he had described.

On our first reconnaissance dive, we encountered a sight that exceeded our expectations: a promising cave system.

This autumn, we hope to be able to share more details and a full account of this new discovery on Paros.
